November Update: Play every matchday against your friends

With version 2.2, every matchday becomes a duel with your friends. We rebuilt the friends league from the ground up and show you during the match where you stand: against your friends, in your duel and in your league.

Bring your friends into your own league

You now start your friends league in three steps. You name it, invite your friends and choose how the points count. Every friends league has its own table and scores the Daily Matchplan. So your whole group plays the same game every matchday and debates the same calls.

For scoring you choose between two options: With rank points, your place in the friends league on the matchday counts. Places 1 to 10 bring 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point. With board points, your points from the Daily Matchplan go into the table. You also set the period: weekly, monthly or all-time. Mode and period stay fixed while a round is running, so the same rules apply to everyone until the end.

• A link, not a list: Share the link to your friends league in your group chat. Whoever opens it is straight in, even if they are only installing Matchplan.
• No board, no rank points: If you don't lock in on a matchday, you get nothing for that day.
• Members and link: As the founder you can remove members and create a new invite link. Every link shared so far then stops working. Anyone you removed can't come back through any link, only through your personal invite.

See live how you stack up against your friends

In the Daily Matchplan you now see a ranking during the match of every friend who played the same game, with their points so far. At the final whistle it becomes the matchday result.

Tap a friend to compare your boards card by card. You see a friend's board from kickoff; before that it stays theirs. The results push after the final whistle takes you straight into this comparison.

• Your record in the profile: A friend's profile shows your record of wins, draws and losses. While a game is running, their board is there too.
• Friends in the reveal: Once you have revealed your board in the Daily Matchplan, you can switch between your league opponent and your friends.

Find your friends faster

Everything about your friends lives in one place, in three sections: Leagues, Friends and Invite. We suggest players you may know. After a duel you can add your opponent as a friend.

• Requests from the push: You can accept a friend request straight from the push notification.
• Invites that connect: Whoever joins Matchplan through your link can add you as a friend right when they sign up.
• Add a code later: You can now enter an invite code in the Invite section up to one week after signing up.

Follow the Daily Matchplan live

In the duel against your league opponent, both boards now sit one above the other during the match, yours and theirs. You see how many predictions on each side are already right. So you already know before the final whistle who is ahead and how each moment of the match shifts it.

Look into every league

From the league ladder you now open every league, not just your own. You see its table, the day's pairings and, during the games, the live scores. On top of that, we gave the leagues a new logo.

Keep the album and Season Pass in view

The album and the Season Pass now show you more clearly what you already have and what is still to come.

• Your rating in the album: On your cards the album shows your own best rating. Cards you are still missing show the highest rating they can reach.
• Season Pass in pages: The Season Pass turns in pages of ten levels, with one row each for Free and Premium. Every level shows whether it is ready to claim, Premium only or not reached yet.

Quality-of-life and UX improvements

• Withdraw a board: If you take every card out of a locked-in board before kickoff, it is withdrawn. If you take out only some, it stands until you have picked five cards again. This works in the Daily Matchplan, the Weekly Matchplan and limited time events.
• Settings: Your profile picture at the top now opens the settings and replaces the side menu. A back button takes you out again.
• Refresh Packs: They now have their own block in the Store, below the card packs.
