Champions Showdown is a multi-matchday event built around the knockout stage. Over four chapters, you will lock in your calls on the highest-stakes fixtures in European football.

Your score carries across every chapter, so consistency matters as much as conviction. This is not a single matchday. It is a sustained test of how well you know the game when the margins are tightest.

Four Chapters. One Cumulative Score.

Each chapter corresponds to a matchday in the knockout round. Lock in your board for each chapter as the fixtures are available. Your total score accumulates across all four, rewarding the players who show up and perform consistently.

Champions Showdown rewards are based on your cumulative score across all four chapters, combined with participation. Show up, perform, and your rewards reflect it.

Earn a Showdown Pack by reaching the first event tier or above through your cumulative score. Alternatively, Showdown Packs will be available in the Store for the duration of the event.

The Champions Showdown Special Exchange opens alongside the event. Trade in your duplicate cards to access exclusive event packs you cannot find anywhere else. If your collection has depth, the exchange lets you convert it into genuine value.

When does Champions Showdown start?

The event runs across the knockout round. Chapter dates align with the fixture schedule. Check the Live Events tab in the app for exact dates as each chapter is confirmed.

Do I need to play every chapter?

You can participate in as many or as few chapters as you choose. However, your cumulative score determines your reward tier, so consistency across all four chapters gives you the best chance of reaching the highest tier.

How is my Showdown score calculated?

Your Showdown score is the sum of your points earned across all four chapters. Standard matchday scoring applies within each chapter. The total is what counts for tier placement.

Can I buy the Showdown Pack without reaching a tier?

Yes. Showdown Packs are available in the Store during the event.

What cards can I submit to the Special Exchange?

Any epic-level cards in your collection are eligible for the exchange. The exchange is active for the full duration of Champions Showdown.

When are rewards distributed?

Tier rewards are distributed after the final chapter concludes and all match results are confirmed. Rewards will appear in your account.

Is this a recurring event?

Champions Showdown is Matchplan's first live event. Future events will follow a similar format, tied to major moments in the European football calendar.
